Brand of the day: Andresgallardo

Andresgallardo is a new, creative approach to fashion jewellery. Broken porcelain is the concept behind the collections: Inspired by elements of flora and fauna combined with metal, leather and crystal fragments and with porcelain figures that have been reworked and set into whimsical, nature-based jewellery pieces. Porcelain figures are broken and repolished by hand and then assembled into subjective and sometimes surrealistic compositions.

Behind the brand are Andrés Gallardo, a fashion designer, and Marina Casal, a graphic and textile designer. They have no formal jewellery training. Their personal world of wild animals and out-of-context materials take shape intuitively, handcrafting every piece through improvisation and meticulousness.

Currently Andresgallardo pieces are developed in small-run productions and unique pieces series, handcrafted in Madrid through an artisanal process based on high quality standards.
